This guide is designed to streamline the process of adding a LinkedIn stamp to your Gitcoin Passport, ensuring a seamless connection between your professional identity and your participation in the web3 ecosystem.

Prerequisites
A LinkedIn account. If you don't already have one, you can create one at https://www.linkedin.com/signup
How to verify your LinkedIn account
Go to https://passport.gitcoin.co/ and "Sign in with Ethereum" to access your dashboard.
Click Connect on the LinkedIn stamp card.
Select the “Encrypted” checkbox, then click “Verify”
You might get redirected to a popup window and prompted to:
Sign in and / or select Linkedin account that you want to connect
Confirm the data that you will share with the Passport project
After confirmation the popup window should close and you will be redirected to the Passport app
A popup message, confirming the successful verification will be shown when the verification process is finalized
In the Passport browser window you can confirm your account is now verified. You can confirm this by seeing the button that previously read as Connect Account will now say Verified. Alternatively, you can inspect the Passport JSON.

If you encounter any issues during the process, Gitcoin offers support through a chat window located at the bottom right corner of the page on the Gitcoin website, as well as on many product pages. Alternatively, you can seek assistance via Gitcoin's Discord channel.
FAQ:
Why did I successfully claim the stamp but the score was not added? When attempting to claim a stamp using more than one wallet address, the score associated with subsequent wallet addresses will not be added. It can happen if you already verified the same Linkedin account on a different Passport wallet. In order to obtain points in a different wallet, you will have to wait for the verified stamp to expire. Each stamp has a 90-day expiration. See here for more information.
